Wolf steam oven codes and what to do

Covers Wolf convection steam ovens: CSO24, CSO24TE/CSO30 (2015–2022) and CSO2450/CSO3050/CSOP3050 (2022 on). Steam ovens show E-codes, and some displays pair them with an F-message; an F-message alone does not identify a single fault.

Depending on the family, the display shows a word message (L Series and legacy dual-fuel, e.g. COOL FAN, PROBE SHORTED), ERR plus a number (legacy dual-fuel), number groups such as 07 x 23 (Legacy E Series), a four-character code such as 5121 or 4A10 (M Series and 2021+ ranges), or an E-code that some steam oven displays pair with an F-message. For most codes Wolf's first step is to switch the home circuit breaker off for about 30 seconds, restore power and retest; if the code returns, Wolf directs owners to Factory Certified Service.

Safety first. Switch the appliance off at its power button and unplug it or turn off the breaker before you clean a filter or check a hose. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility from outside. If there is a burning smell, smoke, sparking or water near wiring, stop using it and keep it off until it has been checked.
