The role
What an Appliance Surgeon technician does
Our technicians repair refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, microwaves, range hoods, wine coolers and HVAC systems in homes, condos and rental units across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and nearby Maryland. The work runs from rental-grade GE, Whirlpool and Frigidaire units to premium built-ins such as Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador and Miele.
On a typical call the technician arrives in the booked window, diagnoses the fault, explains it in plain language and gives the customer an upfront quote before any work starts. Then the repair is completed, often in the same visit, and backed by our 90-day warranty on parts and labor. Customers include homeowners, tenants, landlords and property managers, so clear communication matters as much as technical skill.
The company is based in Alexandria, Virginia, and runs appointments seven days a week. Tell us your availability — full-time, part-time or a preferred schedule — on the application.
