LG dryer codes and what to do

Covers LG US vented electric and gas front-load dryers (e.g. DLE/DLG/DLEX/DLGX 3500-4500 series) and compact heat-pump (ventless) dryers (DLHC1455). Heat-pump-only codes (dE4, OE, LE1, LE2, F1) and condensing-only E13 are marked; the WashTower dryer half was not separately confirmed.

Codes appear in the display and the cycle stops. On many newer vented models a Flow Sense light or bar graph warns of vent blockage instead of d-codes. LG's reset is to unplug or switch off the breaker, hold Start/Pause about 5 seconds, then restore power. 'Check Filter', Wrinkle Care and cool-down lights are reminders, not faults.

Safety first. Switch the appliance off at its power button and unplug it or turn off the breaker before you clean a filter or check a hose. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility from outside. If there is a burning smell, smoke, sparking or water near wiring, stop using it and keep it off until it has been checked.
